Tune ups end – Conference play is on
Oklahoma, Nebraska and Florida State put up 50 plus points with LSU close behind as tune-up time ends and conference showdowns become weekly. No place did the warm-ups appear more obvious than the Big 12, where Texas joined the Sooners and Cornhusker in blowouts. Tennessee and Auburn also had breathers while someone forgot to tell Colorado that dogfood really is made from Buffalo.
