Pitt hands WV first conf. loss

RPI week two causes a shuffle

The second week of the RPI was painful for Illinois and Pitt as they failed to take care of business. Also to Memphis through no fault of their own. Upward movement by UConn and Texas start to show the number 1 seeds.

Duke beats Tar Heels

Duke’s JJ Reddick puts up 35 with some clutch 3 pointers after UNC took the lead with about 10 minutes left. Duke lead 52-35 before allowing a 12-0 Tar Heel run and eventually losing the lead for a couple of minutes.

Colorado – Big 12 Surprise

ESPN’s Katz writes about Colorado’s surge while questioning the school’s commitment to basketball. Will they be able to keep Ricardo Patten past his current contract which ends after the 2007 season? It appears unlikely unless the sports program begins to invest more in the program.
